Introduction:
With the increasing number
of new Courses in education more number of students are increasing in colleges in
every year, So College management is finding some difficult to manage the examinations
and marks Information of their students. College Examination Branch Portal is
complete database of the examination branch of what he got internal and
external marks. This is automated system which perform the complete exam
operations in college.
Existing
System:

This existing system is not providing
secure registration and profile management of all the users properly.
·
This manual system gives us very less
security for saving data and some data may be lost due to mismanagement.
·
The system doesn’t provide any facility to
maintain any feedback option for Students.
·
The system doesn’t provide any
functionalities to for online queries/reply .
·
The examination section is responsible for
carrying out various activities related to planning the internal examinations ,maintain the external examinations schedules, and keep
track of results processing for all students manually.
·
It is a time consuming Process for both
students as well as for management.
Proposed
System:
The development of this new
system contains the following activities, which try to automate the entire
process keeping in the view of database integration approach.
It can be seen that the entire process of
examination monitoring and results processing can be done effectively managed
if software is developed to take care of activities listed.
In this project an College Examination Branch Portal will be designed ,Which acts as an interface
between College and Students .The tasks involved in the development of the College Examination Branch Portal are:
1.Matntaining all employees of College.
2.Maintaing all Course which r Available in the College.
3.Introducing examination schedules.
4.Maintaing all students internal and external marks
details.
5.System provides facility to students for online
query/reply.
6.This system is providing more memory for the users to
maintain data.
7.This system is providing accessibility control to
data with respect to users.

The system after careful
analysis has been identified to be presented with the following modules:
- Authentication and Security Module.
- Admin Module.
- Examination Module.
- Query And Feedback Module.
- Students Module.
Modules
Description:
- Authentication and Security Module
The
user details should be verified against the details in the user tables and if
it is valid user, they should be entered into the system. Once entered, based
on the user type access to the different modules to be enabled / disabled and
individual user can change their default password or old password.
- Admin Module
This
module consists of the following sub modules:
a.
Registration Module
Here admin can register
new faculty, student and store their details in database.
b.
Colleges
Management Module
Here admin can access any user related information.
User can be a faculty or student.
- Examination module:
In this module Examination Branch will maintain the exam
schedules of Internals and externals, and store their Students results Info,…etc
. They can view a queries from students and give reply .They view feedback regarding their services.

- Query And Feedback Module:
In this module a user can send a query and respective
user can reply it. And depending on reply user can give feedback.
- Students Module:
In
this Module the Students can view their marks information and they can send
queries to examination branch regarding their examination schedule and marks if
they have any doubts and they can send Feedback also.
