Project
Title: Online Tenders
Objective:
The basic function of this system is to make
available the tender documents online to the customers and download the tender
application form. Daily many tenders
will be released, and the new tenders are updated so that the customers can
view them and if they are interested they can download the tender form.
Customers will have to
register themselves and will get a permanent user id and password, by using
this user id and password he can download the tender forms in future also.
This system can also handle
multiple tender documents at one time i.e. the user can access various tenders
from the company at one time and can download the required form(s) to his/her
machine. Apart from this the user can see the details about the company and the
related tender information provided with the tender.
Functional REquirements:
- Administrator manage the user's accessibility .
- Tenders information storing in centralized database server.
- Providing authentication and authorization for the web pages.
- Downloading of tender documents.
- Bidding for tender.
- Credit card information maintenance.
- The customer can give out the feedback about this system on his will.
Non-functional
Requirements
- Secure access of confidential data (user’s details) should be provided.
- 24 X 7 availability of the application
- Application should be accessible over Internet.
- Better component design to get better performance at peak time
- Flexible service based architecture will be highly desirable for future extension.
